Samdaddy is said to be working on a second missionary journey to the senate by raising fresh platform and political network. He has also made it clear he is not running for governorship of the State as earlier speculated.
Trumpeta gathered on good authority that after two terms in the House of Reps, Onyewuchi is angling for a shot in the senate.
Ezenwa originally was of the APGA in 2011 when he won the federal House. He joined Okorocha to APC but called it members at the meeting was the issue of Onyewuchi taking over from Samdaddy in 2019 even as it was not made public. Though, the central theme of the quits when he noticed that the ticket for the party for the Owerri Federal constituency may not be for him. Onyewuchi joined PDP and won the ticket for a second time.
In view of the two tenures he has merited and considering that Owerri Federal constituency has in recent time failed to produce a Senator, Onyewuchi is seriously warning up to fill the gap.
A clear signal that Onyewuchi will give Samdaddy a fight for the ticket in PDP emerged a fortnight ago when the Reps member hosted the Markafi faction of Imo PDP to a meeting in his house. The event was a gathering of PDP stakeholders across the State.
Trumpeta was informed that Onyewuchi used the opportunity to announce his arrival into the scene.
What dominated discussion among party thering gathering was on the progress of the party but party men went further to disclose that the host is as good as challenging the Senator for the post on 2019
