The people of Orlu, Orsu and Oru East Federal Constituency may be experiencing a different representation by 2019, if only what have been reeled out by Hon. Barr. (Mrs) Oyibo Ahaneku Nwaneri mni, is anything to go by.

Hon Oyibo Nwaneri represented Oru East State Constituency in the State legislature from 2007-2011.

She is a die -hard card carrying member of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, and has served the party under the acting capacity of the National Woman Leader.

In her determination to further render selfless services to her immediate Federal constituency, Hon Oyibo Nwaneri recently joined the race.

According to her, “I am not vying for this position to make name, or to enrich myself and family, by the grace of God, I am no longer a novice in politics. If it is for my immediate needs, I wouldn’t have bothered myself, but I decide to answer the clarion call, for a better Orlu/Orsu/Oru East Federal Constituency”.

Having carved a niche for herself, the female politician assures of giving them a stronger voice, as well as drawing the government presence in the 3 Local Government Areas.

Commenting on human development projects, Mrs. Nwaneri described the absence of effective health centers as a precarious state, wondering how lives could be saved in times of emergency.

Therefore, she hammered on the need of having an International standard health practices across the areas with professionals.

Similarly, she promises to elevate the standard of living of women by getting them acquainted with skills acquisition programs, and to back them up with starter kits.

She recalled that the 35 percent women affirmative votes should be allowed to play out in the upcoming elections, where women should be strongly supported and allowed active participation in politics.

In addition, Nwaneri affirmed that a vote for a woman will guarantee an all inclusive representation and good tidings.

“Most often, people die because of poor medical attention. The rural dwellers do not get the necessary medicare they deserve, especially the low income earners. By the grace of God, our health centers across the 3 LGAs will be revived, while new ones are constructed”.

On employment, the legal practitioner assures the unemployed youths/graduates of sustainable employment, pointing out that most cases of social vices could be curtailed by engaging the youths on gainful employment.

She expressed optimism that she would massively transform the Constituency with her expanded contacts and wealth of knowledge as a former Assembly representative.

However, Hon Oyibo Nwaneri admonished the constituents on proactiveness, by getting their Permanent Voters Cards, PVC, and voting wisely.

The Oru politician reminded them that as a woman, she knows their pains, wants and expectations, and promise to make all their dreams come to fulfilment by 2019 if elected.

Meanwhile, it could be recalled that since after 1999 the late Hon Cajethan Dike from Oru East LGA  represented the Federal Constituency, they have not had the opportunity again, which political survey suggests it’s Oru turn by 2019, judging that Orsu and Orlu LGAs have been allowed to complete  their tenures respectively.
