The newly appointed secretary to the state government, Chief Mark Uchendu became the cynosure of all eyes on Monday when he gave Governor Rochas Okorocha full assurance that Chief Uche Nwosu the immediate past Chief of Staff and his son in-law will be the next governor of the state.

The SGI made this statement after he was sworn at Sam Mbakwe enlarged Exco chamber, Imo Government House Owerri but not without adding later that he doesn’t mind spilling his blood to achieve this feat.

Chief Uchendu who gave vote of thanks on behalf of other newly appointed government officials shortly after the swearing in ceremony vowed to spill his blood to make sure that Governor Okorocha produces a successor of his choice in the name of Uche Nwosu, adding that the opposition group cannot stop the Rescue Mission team from actualizing its dream. He urged Imolites to shun the activities of the detractors of the governor and face the realities on ground. He therefore directed that all hands must be on deck to disorganize the opposition party.

Speaking further, he ordered commissioners and other government appointees to move down to their various communities and into the churches. According to him some pastors and Rev. Fathers can use their platform to misinform people against the government, especially, when they are standing at the pulpit to preach.

“We must go against wrong preachings” Uchendu declared.

Governor Okorocha during his address at the ceremony raised alarm over the move to preach against his administration by some churches and the opposition tressing that such plan if executed will bring negative influence to our society and spoil the future of our children. The governor raised eyebrows over the gang up against him by the Coalition group and ask Imolites to reciprocate his good gesture by voting Rescue Mission candidates for continuity in 2019 election.

He also disclosed that his remaining seven months in office before he bows out will be used to complete the urban renewal project and actualize his dream of making Imo a modern model state.

He disclosed that all school projects and hospitals must be completed before May 2019, adding that his works must surly speak for him “my records is unbeatable” Okorocha boasted.
