The Imo state Football Association vice-Chairman, Chief (Sir) Emma Ochiaga has congratulated the recently reelected Nigeria Football Federation NFF, President, Amaju Melvin Pinnick and other winners at the NFF elections over their victory at Katsina state few days ago.
Sir Ochiagha who also contested for the South East seat into the NFF board against the likes of Chief Emeka Iyama(Abia), Mr Chidi Ofor Okenwa (Enugu), Barr JBC Obikweleu(Anambra) and the winner, Chief Anyansi Agwu(Abia) in his congratulatory massage which he made available to Trumpeta sports desk also wished the newly elected board success as they thinker the affairs of football in the nation praying that God continues to guide them aright in all their decisions and actions.
He however urged them to ensure that football is the actually winner with their activities by extending development of the game to all conners of the nation especially at the grassroots level.
The member of the NFF match Commissioner Appointment Committee meanwhile, used the opportunity to appeal to any person or persons who may be aggrieved either before or after the elections to please shield their sword and work with Amaju led board with the view of taking Nigeria football to greater height.
Expressing his solidarity to the reelected NFF boss and his board members, Sir Ochiagha noted that the time for fighting has gone by and called for a common front where every stakeholder can offer his or her knowledge towards the development of the game.
