It has been announced that the Imo state government has spent nothing less than N16 Billion on Imo Roads within its sixteen (16) months in office.
POPULAR SIDE has gone round the state and has seen more than 85% on the roads embarked upon by the government uncompleted and those built or started by past administration abandoned to wrought/cut into death traps.
POPULAR SIDE wonders where the roads that gulped the said huge amount of N16b can be found. Your humble POPULAR SIDE stands to be corrected, oooh!
Recently, Mgbee/Orlu/Urualla road cut into a death trap, this is the road that leads to Gov. Okorocha’s home town, and the monumental Owerri bye-pass has been abandoned to detoriate to a death trap at the Akwakuma/Amakohia axis, not to talk of the Akabo axis of Owerri/Okigwe Road.
Where did the government spend the 16b naira?
