Okigwe Agog for Imo Sports Festival Torch

The Okigwe sports family was agog following the arrival of the Imo State Sports Festival Torch at the LGA today.
On hand to receive the Imo State Sports Commission team, led by Chief Fan Ndubuoke was the IMC chairman, Comrade Paul Uche. He was accompanied by coaches, athletes, sports managers and few council members of the LGA.
Ndubuoke briefed the LGA boss and his team about the forthcoming sports festival and the readiness of Governor Emeka Ihedioha to reposition sports in the state.
The LGA head, Uche, promised to cooperate with the commission and state government in their efforts to resuscitating sports in Imo.
Among those in the commission’s entourage were the director of sports, Mrs Chizotam Aretola and board members of the commission.
