Battle For Okigwe Zone APC Ticket Shifts To Abuja

If what Trumpeta gathered from the nation’s capital in Abuja, the forces who will determine who picks the ticket of APC for the Okigwe may be from Abuja.
The death of Senator Ben Uwajumogu had opened chances for a fresh election for who occupies the seat.
From what the newspaper gathered, the battle is tough in APC where several gladiators are warning up to pick the ticket for the election slated for October 31st, 2020.
In the last count, not less than five APC chieftains have declared interest to vie for the position.
It was however gathered that all the aspirants have temporarily relocated to Abuja to lobby for support.
It was further gathered that even the state governor is interested in who emerges hence his decision to move into Abuja.
Apart from the Presidency, the new Party National Working Committee are also among those Imo politicians have rushed to meet in Abuja for consultations.
