The Imo State chapter of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP has consistently in recent times being extending a hand of membership to former Chief of Staff, and former Secretary to the Imo State Government, Sir Jude Ejiogu, from Owerri North Local Government Area of the state, for him to declare for the party.
This was discovered recently during a visit by the PDP state Working Committee executives, ably led by the state Secretary of the party, Hon. Ray Emeagha, in company of other prominent sons of Owerri North to Sir Ejiogu’s residence to discuss with him on the need for him to return to the party and declare his membership.
In response, Sir Ejiogu who appreciated them for their visit, acknowledged that PDP was the party he originated from, but will have to discuss what they have requested of him with his structure and then get back to them in no distant time on what his resolve is.
Trumpeta newspaper further gathered that the visit of the PDP executives may be fruitful as there are strong verifiable speculations that sir Ejiogu may be returning back to the party as a chieftain.
