Orlu people have been told never to sell their votes for money as that would amount to selling their rights and conscience.

Hon Onyeocha Obinna, a chairmanship aspirant in Orlu LGA, stated this while speaking to newsmen in Orlu, recently.

Hon Onyeocha stressed that his desire to vie for the Orlu Chairmanship seat is to extend his services to the people, stating that he has been in the service of the people for a long time. “I have helped the rural people in the area of social basic amenities, because of my connections with international agencies like the world bank”, Hon Onyeocha said.

The Umutanze, Orlu born politician recalled that he had brought projects like: health care centre, at Eziachi, Umueze Town Hall, 1.4 km and 2km road projects in Umuowa and Owerre Ebeiri and some parts of Orlu.

Hon Onyeocha who was a co-ordinator of Orlu North Development Centre said Orlu Council needs an honest, obedient and intelligent leader to be the Chairman of Orlu LGA.

He however advised Orlu LGA Chairmanship aspirants to support him, as the era of unfulfilled electoral promises has gone. He promised never to mismanage the councils funds if voted into office.
