Njaba APGA Exco Declare Support for Rochas

The Executives of All Progressives Grand Alliance APGA in Njaba local Government Area last Thursday held a solidarity rally in support for the Governor of Imo State Owelle Rochas Okorocha at the sports stadium in Njaba Local Govt headquarters.

Speaking at the rally, the (SOLAD) Sole Administrator of Njaba Local Government Area, Rtd. Captain Christian Ibekwe commended the present administration of Governor Rochas Okorocha for his landmark achievement within his two years in office, adding that the peace being witnessed recently in Njaba LGA is as a result of his Excellency’s good Governance and people oriented policies through the Rescue Mission Agenda. He urged party members and aspirants of the forthcoming local government chairmanship election to support the Governor Owelle Rochas Okorocha and still deep faith with the party APGA.

The zonal chairman of APGA in Orlu, Chief Hon. Asika representing the APGA state Chairman in Imo, stated that the existence of APGA in Imo State was re-activated through the involvement of Governor Rochas Okorocha and urged the people of Njaba to prepare for the forth coming general elections in 2015.

Earlier the APGA Chairman in Njaba, Chief Isaac Mgbudom stated that All Progressive Congress, APC is still on board, as up till now the Governor, Owelle Rochas Okorocha has not yet notified the mode of transition into the APC. He however added that the merger can only be decided by the National Party Chairman of APGA, advising chairmanship aspirants to maintain faith with APGA as the move into the APC have not yet been confirmed.

Speaking to Trumpeta, the APGA Chairman of Oru-East Local Government, Hon Chief Jerry Madubueze said that the seat of the presidency has already eluded the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) with the emergence of the APC come 2015 adding that with the porters and structure of APC, the Igbo man can be sure of occupying the number one position in Nigeria, and advised politicians to embrace clean politics in order to enhance sustainable development.
