‎Prophet Nnamdi Akujor of Overcomers International Mission, Owerri, has said that he received a prophetic revelation of an assassination attempt against the presidential candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr Peter Obi, ahead of the 2027 presidential election.

‎

‎Akujor also said that God has revealed to him that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu would secure a second term in office, he however predicted what he described as serious crisis and turmoil within the Presidential Villa as the second tenure ambition of the President is achieved.

‎

‎The cleric made the claims at the weekend while rounding off his sermon during the 2026 International Youth Fellowship Convention of the church, held at its auditorium in Owerri.

‎

‎The youth convention, which is held, witnessed a great crowd and above all experienced the move of God as it was in the days of the apostles……..

‎

‎Akujor, popularly known as Brother Nnamdi, said his prophetic predictions were based on what he described as divine revelations concerning Nigeria’s political future.

‎

‎

‎According to Akujor, “you see this 2027 general election, let me say this to Nigerians, it is not going to be easy. It is not going to be easy. It is going to be very bloody. I weep for my nation based on what was divinely revealed to me. However, my prayer is that no child of God will lose their life.

‎

‎“I saw where Tinubu was returned back again for a second tenure. But in his second tenure, Aso Rock Villa will shake; there will be crisis and turmoil in Nigeria.

‎

‎“You will see the hands of God in this nation called Nigeria in 2027, to make you know that Nigeria belongs to God and not to anybody. My prayer for you is this: your blood will not be sacrificed in any protest. I certainly saw Tinubu returning back the second time.”

‎

‎The prophet subsequently urged Nigerians to pray for Obi, alleging that he had seen what he described as a conspiracy against the former Anambra State governor.

‎

‎He also said,“secondly, please, all should on a daily basis pray for this man called Mr Peter Obi. Every occultic conspiracies against him should be nullified by the Heavenly Host. He has good plans for the nation.

‎

‎“I saw Mr Peter Obi assassinated before the election while campaigning. The conspiracy is much. They just want to make the Igbos and global communities to cry. I saw clearly how somebody from somewhere in a crowd sneaked in, shot at him and he died.

‎

‎“My prayer is that every arrow of death upon that man called Peter Obi must return back tenfold to the conspirators, so that God will take His glory.”

‎

‎Akujor also said he had received what he described as revelations concerning two prominent Nigerian Christian leaders, Bishop Dr Paul C. Nwachukwu of Grace of God Mission International and Dr Paul Enenche of Dunamis International Gospel Centre.

‎

‎Speaking about Nwachukwu, the prophet said he had been instructed in a revelation to urge the cleric to prepare for what he interpreted as the end of his earthly journey.

‎

‎“There is a man of God in Nigeria called Dr Paul Nwachukwu of Grace of God Mission. I had a revelation about him. The Lord said to me, he should prepare; his time to be with the Lord has come. I saw where he departed and went into glory.”

‎

‎Akujor also called for prayers against what he described as a possible plane crash between the months of October and December 2026, saying such an incident, if it occurred, could result in significant loss of lives in Nigeria.

‎

‎He, however, stressed that he was not claiming that the incident was inevitable, saying, according to him, prophetic warnings could be averted through prayers, fasting and other spiritual practices.

‎

‎“I’m not saying that it must happen for you to know I’m a prophet of God. I’m not saying it will certainly happen. Most times, God reveals to us an incoming doom. These can be prevented through prayers, fasting and other spiritual sacrifices by children of God.”

‎

‎The prophet further said the church would continue to pray for Nigeria and Christian leaders against what he described as threats and attacks.

‎

‎On Dr Paul Enenche, he said, “God clearly told me about this man of God called Dr Paul Enenche. Every evil plan to destroy him because of what he is doing for the kingdom, we pray from this altar, the arrows of death over that man shall not prevail.”

‎ He prayed for the congregation for God,s protection and ended with this saying “Not their head not their blood”….
