With Gay marriage gaining international prominence in several societies, same sex practice is spreading across Imo State like wildfire, as young men and women engage in homosexual acts and lesbianism.

This unholy act among men and women was made known by the Imo State Agency for the Control of HIV/AIDS, IMOSACA.

Speaking to Trumpeta in an exclusive interview on the operations of the agency, the Director General, Dr Ethelbert Anyanwu noted that IMOSACA recently organized a seminar for those involved in the act where a reasonable number of young men and women said to be involved in the act participated.

According to the boss of IMOSACA, the seminar which was organized in one of the hotels in Owerri Municipal Council witnessed an amazing number of young boys suspected to be involved in same-sex sexual relationship. The boys according to Dr Anyanwu numbered more than 50 in attendance in Owerri.

Said he “It might interest you to know that same sex-marriage is here with us in Imo. Just recently, as part of our programs in the fight against HIV/AIDS, we organized a seminar for such people and you can’t believe we had more than fifty young boys in attendance.

“Even at the seminar venue, you will notice that the boys were busy lusting, caressing and kissing their partners in full glare of people”, Dr Anyanwu added.

Explaining further from IMOSACA survey carried out recently, Dr Anyanwu disclosed that it was discovered that these young boys have older, wealthy and influential same-sex partners in the society who also indulges in the practice.

Dr Anyanwu therefore enjoined parents to pay more attention on the activities of their children and wards especially the type of friends they keep and where they go to adding that un-spiritual and unacceptable practices are the easiest methods of contacting HIV/AIDS virus.

The IMOSACA survey further disclosed that same-sex acts are also practiced among young female folks in the state.

Meanwhile, the Archbishop of Owerri Arch Diocese, Rt Rev Anthony Obinna has declared that he will soon vacate his office for the younger generation.

The Archbishop also made it known that he will never live to witness same-sex marriage in his life time, pointing out that the act is an abomination before God and man.

He maintained that it was stupid for the civilized world to adopt the same-sex marriage syndrome, while stating that it would be better for him to live a primitive life, than the be civilized to condone same-sex marriage.

The Bishop advised couples to stick to their partners, while warning that it was against the law of God for opposite sexes to be dating each other before solemnizing their marriages, pointing out that marriage is a serious union and institution.

He advised that infidelity among married couples is a serious crime before God, while wishing Chinwe and Richard a happy married life.

The Bishop warned Richard against act that may diminish his respect for the wife, while imploring Chinwe to always respect and obey the husband.
