Imolites lambast Okorocha over Dirty Environment -

The people of Imo state have continued to express dismay over the parochial administration of Governor Rochas Okorocha.

They stated this on the popular Hot 99.5 FM people’s Assembly.

The callers of the programme lambasted Governor Okorocha for his undemocratic attitude towards the health of Imo people, adding that the clean and green initiative of former Governor Ohakim never saw the light of the day, the moment Okorocha became the governor.

One of the popular callers, Noky Ebikam from Obazu Mbiaeri wondered if the advisers of Governor Okorocha are really giving him the right advice, adding that if the governor fails to turn a new leaf, it would have an adverse effect on him.

Contributing another popular caller, Bar. Kinsger Ikeokwu also blasted the governor for playing with the lives of Imo people, affirming that Dr. Ohakim never allowed refuse dumps to litter the state, as he made the stringent efforts to keep the state clean.

Other callers however advised the governor to desist from doing anything that would portray him in bad light and assured him that the day of reckoning would soon come.

They however commended the clean and green initiative of Dr. Ohakim, adding that such programme gave Imo state a good look, while calling on Governor Okorocha to tell Imo people his programme of administration, as they have waited for a long time.
