It was a bad day for two electoral officers in charge of Ohaji/Egbema LGA in the governorship election, Mr Chris Ugwuadu and Kelechi Ehirim. At the collation centre during the announcement of results, the Ugwuadu and Ehirim, Electoral Officer and Returning Officer, respectively were accused to have inflated AA candidates votes after party agents had signed and left with their own copies of the original results.
Before that time, it was reported that arguments greeted Ohaji/Egbema LGA results presented by the officials. It was observed that the officials added a cancelled ward; Obitti/Mgbuisi Ward, in the results. They were later handed to police after AA governorship result was reduced from 20,000 to 16,339 votes and Obitti/Mgbuisi removed.
