Imo Integrity Group: Our Votes To Obi, Backup For Ogunenwe’s Imo Governorship Position Come 2023

A well-known Human Rights Group, in Imo State, Integrity Group (IIG) has declared its total support for the election of Mr Peter Obi the Labour Party Presidential Candidate as the next President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Speaking in Owerri, Imo State Capital yesterday, the Leader of the Group, Prince Vincon Uwakwe Uwandu disclosed that the support IIG has for a Governorship Aspirant in Labour Party, Imo State, General Ogunenwe (rtd)would be transferred to Obi, whom the Group tips as the next President after Saturday election.

Prince Uwandu who described Imo Integrity Group as made up of people of unquestionable character in Imo State, stated that their numerous members scattered all over Imo State and even those outside the State will vote massively for Peter Obi on Saturday.

He said that the humungous support for Obi on Saturday would be replicated on Ogunenwe, before, during and after the Imo Labour Party primaries, which IIG believes Ogunenwe would win and become the candidate of Labour Party, come November 2023 Imo Governorship election.

He said Ogunenwe is a disciplined man, whose father retired as a Brigadier in the Army, and therefore has surpassed his father and himself retired as a General in the Army, which is the prayer of every good father, that his son should be greater than him.

He appealed to not only members of Imo Integrity Group, but all Nigerians, to troop out on Saturday and vote for Obi.

“I appeal to all our members and all Nigerians of goodwill to come out enmass and vote for Peter Obi. This an apology for Nigerians to elected a Peoples President, who has all the capacity to save Nigeria from this perennial poverty” the IIG Leader said.
