Theft In House of God: Catholic Church Ex-Communicate Female Member Over Missing Phone

A young lady (names withheld) who was said to have stolen a mobile phone at Annunciation Catholic Church located at Road one, Imo Housing Umuguma New Owerri, Imo State during adoration prayers penultimate Wednesday is now said to be in serious trouble.

Our source revealed that the lady disappeared with the stolen phone and was later apprehended by those who gave her a hot chase.

After a serious interrogation, she confessed to the crime and returned the phone.

When asked why she stole the phone, the lady stated that she lost her own phone and consequently made away with another person’s phone as a replacement.

Our source further revealed that the following day, a good Samaritan returned her own phone to the church.

Meanwhile there has been series of complains against the lady which led to the church decision to Ex-communicate her.

Our source also revealed that there had been reported cases of missing phones prior to the Wednesday adoration service incident.

Right now, water tight security has been mounted at the entrance gate of the church.

The security men there have promised to double their efforts towards securing lives and property of church members.
