A non partisan socio political group, known as Mbaise Forum has held its maiden National Exco meeting, with a call on the members of the organization to be committed in their effort to restore unity in the area.
Addressing the members of the Forum at its National executive meeting at Ahiazu Mbaise LGA, last week, National Chairman of the Forum, Dr .I. Njoku, said that the essence of the meeting is to restratigize on the way to move the movement forward, adding that the 2015 election is by the corner “we don’t need anyone to tell us that the 2015 election is by the corner. Please, tell others that this is a serious forum and truth is our watchword.
Dr Njoku noted that the forum would be holding its National Exco meeting once in a while in order to intimate the members of the activities of the forum. “this meeting will be called once in a while, but subsequently at LGA levels” He stated.
He further pointed out that the forum is making efforts to present the organization to the public in order to give it a wide publicity, adding that anyone is free to be part of what they are doing.
Dr. Njoku also said that soon, the forum would be established in all the communities in Mbaise clan, stressing that women should also be encouraged to join the organization. “This community formation is very important to us and women should also be encouraged to be part of us.
Contributing, the legal Adviser of Mbaise Forum, Abo Chapter, Barr. Amalili said that he would establish a website for the organization that would give access to Mbaise sons and daughters in diaspora to get fact about the Forum.
