Indications that concerned authorities are enforcing the Supreme Court judgement on reinstatement of Eze Cletus Ilomuanya as chairman of Ndi Eze, Imo state have emerged.
After a long court process to regain his position having been illegally sacked by the state governor, Owelle Rochas Okorocha, the apex court finally confirmed the Obi of Obinugwu position.
Trumpeta however learnt that the decision of the final arbiter in court may have led to the reduction of number of security aides, especially the police attached to him as hitherto Eze Imo.
Instead of the normal retinue police attaches, Ohiri is said to be left with only one police personnel similar to other traditional rulers in the state.
This newspaper further learnt the Obi of Orodo has also been asked to tactifully keep off within the precinct of the secretariat of Imo state council of traditional rulers.
Efforts to get the police public relations officer for the state, Andrew Enwerem react on the matter proved abortive. But a staff of the Ndi Eze Imo secretariat noted that the absence of Eze Ohiri for a day or two does not signify that he may have been asked to keep away from the premises.
Meanwhile, the state APC chairman, Hilary Eke is billed to return to court in Abuja today in connection with allegation of forgery and criminal defamation of character.
Eke detained over the matter in Abuja before he was granted bail in court risks jail if found guilty.
