PDP Raises Alarm Over Purchase of PVC Cards by Opposition Parties

Ahead the April 25, 2015 re-run election in 250 electoral Booths in Imo state, the Peoples Democratic Party PDP has raised alarm over an alleged purchase of PVC Cards by the All Progressive Congress APC.
A statement from the publicity secretary of PDP Hon Kizito Onuoha made available to this Newspaper alleged that agents of APC have embarked on massive purchase of PVC cards at the cost of ten thousand naira each from unsuspecting Imo voters.
According to the statement, “PDP further expresses concern as this act is a pure sabotage to the Electoral Act of the Federation and therefore calls on INEC, and security agencies to conduct proper investigation on this matter and urgently bring the perpetrators to book”.
PDP also used the opportunity to reassure its supporters of her resolve to reclaim the state from APC which according to it stole its votes during the last Saturday’s Governorship election in Imo.
“We use this medium to warn unsuspecting Imo citizens to refrain from being involved in this unholy and unpatriotic action. Your PVC is your property as a Nigerian and to part with same is to deny your Nigerians, it means that you are no more a citizen of the Federal republic of Nigeria”. The statement said
