The Governor Rochas Okorocha campaign structure, known as “Rescue Mission” is bound to lose some prominent followers and financial supporters, even as the Governor tries to mobilize as many people as possible to be able to hoist a successor in office come 2019 Imo Governorship election.

Trumpeta has it on good authority that a majority of those who served as Transition Committee Chairmen in the twenty seven LGAs are reconsidering their commitments and loyalty to the Okorocha project, following the shoddy manner they are being treated after serving their various LGAs meritoriously.

This Newspaper learnt that the issue at point is the execution of twenty seven chapels in the council Headquarters as directed by the Governor, Owelle Rochas Okorocha.

Trumpeta learnt that the sum of twenty one (N21m) million naira was mapped out for each of these chapels, and was used as a mark of trial and competence for each TC Chairmen.

Following this challenge, the TC Chairmen went to work to complete the projects. Some of them went to borrow from Banks in making sure they completed the project to impress their Boss, Gov Rochas Okorocha.

However, when they were removed from office, the Governor was said to have instructed the youths he said he made millionaires to now complete the projects, which most of the projects were already completed.

Following this development, the Governor was said to have handed millions of Naira to this youths to finish the jobs, to the disappointment of the TC Chairmen who are yet to be repayed what they borrowed from the Banks.

One of the former TC Chairmen from Orlu zone told Trumpeta that it is disturbing that while some of them who completed theirs went home empty handed, their then ALGON Chairman has since received his complet payment for the project, while many of them are at the mercy of Banks.

They pleaded that Okorocha should look into their plight before frustration and political exigencies lure them into the hands of opposition, as they are still willing and ready to continue to work for Okorocha.
