Group wants Mgbudom to contest for Federal House seat

As eligible adults get ready to elect credible candidates who will represent them in various political positions came 2019 general elections, a formidable organization known as Njaba/Isu Forum has called on a philanthropist cum politician, Hon. Tony Mgbudom to contest for Isu, Njaba, Nkwerre and Nwangele Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives.

Speaking to Newsmen recently, the Director General of Njaba/Isu Forum, Hon. Engr. Uju Okoro went down his memory lane informing that Hon. Mgbudom remains the best candidate for the largest Federal constituency maintaining that he has touched virtually all aspect of humanity within and outside the constituency. Hon. Okoro disclosed that the forum has been there years back aimed at enhancing moral understanding, equity, fairness and justice in terms of power shifting among the four Local Government Areas that made up the Federal constituency. He informed that Njaba and Isu have not produced House of Representatives member since 26 years of civilian rule in Imo State pointing out that Nwangele has taken their slot while Nkwerre is currently occupying the seat. Hear his words, “we have gone round and discovered that the only person who will effectively represent us as well as bringing dividends of democracy to the people of the Federal Constituency is Hon. Tony Mgbudom who hails from Nkume in Njaba Council Area of Imo State. It is now the turn of Njaba to produce the next Federal House of Representatives member, and our best choice is Mgbudom. Hon. Mgbudom has empowered our people in many ways both human capital development and people oriented projects”.

Meanwhile, the Director General revealed that the forum will soon hold a meeting for which it shall issue a communique for official adoption of Hon. Mgbudom as the sole candidate for Isu, Njaba, Nwangele and Nkwere Federal House of Representatives seat.
