Mozambique humbles Host Tunisia in Owelle mock – Nations cup


The 2012 Owelle Mock – Nation cup kicked – off on Sunday at the Nwokutu soccer city stadium Orji asMozambiquetrashed the host nation,Tunisiaby three goals to nothing.

During the opening ceremony which was watched by a mammoth crowd, the president of All – stars football club, Owerri, Comm. Ugochukwu Nna performed the opening ceremony and was flanked by Sir Uche Ejimofor, a former General manager of Iwuanyanwu National now Heartland FC as well as Mr Onuwa (Bombo), thead coach of the All stars.

Three beautiful goals from Onyekachi, Amara and Michael ensured thatTunisiawho won the nations cup in 2010 did not enjoy the support of their fans that trooped out in mass to shear them to glory.

The Owelle Mock – Nations Cup which usually takes place in the Township school field was moved toOrjiPrimary school(Nwokutu Soccer City Stadium) as the former venue is undergoing renovations by his Excellency Owelle Rochas Okorocha.
