Ideato North APC Celebrates Imo Governor •As Okafor Emerges Apex Leader

The newly sworn in governor of Imo State, Senator Hope Uzodinma has bagged accolades from the All Progressive Congress, APC, Ideato North Local Government of the State.
According to a communique duly signed by the leaders in a meeting held last Wednesday, January 22, 2020 in the country home of Chief Ifeanyi Okafor, they expressed a warm felicitation to the governor and his team.
They described Uzodinma’s emergence as the best thing that has happened to Ndi Imo, stressing that with his wealth of experience and leadership sagacity, he would fix the State to normalcy.
It says, “that we pledge to support continually every step which the governor and his team will take to deliver the dividends of democracy to the good people of Imo State”.
Imolites were called to eschew bitterness and join hands in supporting the government of the day.
Meanwhile, the meeting was heralded by an implicit vote of confidence and confirmation of Chief Sir Ifeanyichukwu Okafor as the apex leader of the LGA.
In a motion moved by Deacon Ideato C. Ideato, and supported by Chief Chika Igbosonu, Okafor was attributed as a selfless leader whose impact was compared to none, hence his status as an apex leader.
“the unwavering commitment and steadfast leadership of Chief Ifeanyi Okafor throughout the campaign and tribunal processes is highly commendable”.
Present at the meeting were; Chief Ifeanyi Okafor (apex leader), Chief F.A Onwuachi (former chairman peoples club of Nigeria), Chief Chika Igbosonu (Isimmiri Urualla), Chief Canice Udokoro, Hon Emeka Ukeh, Hon  Gloria Onwudiwe (Police nwanyi), Deacon Ideato C. Ideato, Hon Ikechukwu Umeh (APC State Assembly candidate), Nze Luke Ekwueme, Barr. Obum Okonkwo, Dr. Mrs. Chinyere Udokoro, Lady Kate Osuigwe, Chief Sunday Nwagboo, Hon Ogbuagu Bartholomew, Hon Onyizu Hardway Christopher (LGA APC secretary), Comr. Chidi Egbuo (LGA coordinator Hope campaign organisation), Barr Duru Peter.
