Plot To Remove Okorocha, Araraume, Three Reps Members, Followers From APC Thickens

Peace and tranquility will continue to elude members of the Imo State chapter of the All Progressive Congress, APC if current developments in the party are anything to be considered.
At the moment there is mutual suspicion fertilized by alleged plot to keep off the party some elected office holders and other stakeholders of the party believed not to be in the line up of the state governor, Senator Hope Uzodinma.
In the last count, Imo State is among the few states APC has ordered for continued revalidation of membership exercise after it had been concluded.
Trumpeta learnt that after the former governor, Senator Rochas Okorocha, Senator Ifeanyi Araraume, three Reps members; Honourables Ugonna Ozuruigbo, Paschal Obi and Kingsley Chima Uju and others under the banner of Imo APC Foundation Members had staged a protest in Abuja and followed up with a press briefing at the party national office, the national caretaker committee asked for the extension of revalidation of membership in Imo State.
But reports reaching the newspaper have it that it the process is becoming elusive for those who ought to have their names included in the new membership list.
Trumpeta further gathered that gaining accessibility of the items and meeting officials expected to undertake the exercise have become impossible for Okorocha, Araraume and their followers. With the party set for the congresses to elect new exco for ward, LGA and State congress, the newspaper was told that the camp of Okorocha and Araraume may be shut out of the party.
Those of the Okorocha and Araraume are crying foul that the alleged supporters of the state governor, Senator Hope Uzodinma may have initiated the plot to keep them off the party.
According to a report Trumpeta monitored online, one Godwin Anaugha, who is said to be incharge of the committee for the conduct of membership revalidation exercise in Imo State has been accused of not been available to enable the Okorocha and Araraume groups embark on the program.
Allies of the former governor further alleged that it was the second time the man incharge has not been available to allow them register.
