INEC Issues Certificate Of Return To MBAIKE Reps Member-Elect, Akarachi Amadi

The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has issued a Certificate of Return to the House of Representatives Member-Elect for Mbaitoli/Ikeduru Federal Constituency seat, Hon. Engr. Akarachi Amadi.

Yesterday, April 19, 2023, at the INEC collation headquarters, Abuja, Akarachi was presented with the CoR as the duly Reps Member-elect for MBAIKE.

This followed his victory at the last Saturday’s April 15th, 2023 supplementary election for the Federal Constituency.

Akarachi Amadi, a 29 year-old Engineer, entrepreneur and business mogul defeated his closet rival of the Labour Party with twenty-one thousand, three hundred and seventy-two (21,372) votes.

The Labour Party Candidate however polled eighteen thousand, two hundred and ninety-six (18,296) votes.

Hon Akarachi Amadi’s declaration by the electoral body on Saturday ignited wild jubilation in Mbaitoli and Ikeduru communities.

Not only that he is a philanthropist who has impacted tremendously in lives, many infrastructural developments stand in his name.

Even as an individual, he built markets, constructed roads, ventured into scholarship scheme for indigent children from the Federal Constituency, drilled borehole, as well as electrified blackout communities.

In his recent media parley, he believed that embarking on elective post would further broaden his scope towards people oriented projects.

He won the seat under the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC.

Earlier, he expressed delight through his Facebook platform by thanking his constituents.

He wrote, “I am very grateful to the over 20 thousand people of Mbaike Federal Constituency who voted for me, those who contributed in many ways in the running of our successful campaign, and those at home who expressed confidence in me.

“The hard work to deliver a better Mbaike continues, building on the foundations of togetherness and opportunities for all.

I can assure that the next four years will be progress and development of the people and our constituency in general.

Thank you all and may God bless our Constituency and the Federal Republic of Nigeria”.

Hon Akarachi Amadi is taking over from the incumbent Reps member, Hon. Henry Nwawuba in the 10th House.
