Ahead of the September 21 local government election in the state, there are strong indications that the chances of Prince Sir Chijioke Elcijero Simon Aboego KSJI, to win the forthcoming election is becoming clearer as he is being considered and pointed as the best and credible alternative. Also, there seems to be subtle realignment among some APC gladiators in Ngor Okpala in support of his ambition.

Prince Sir Chijioke Simon Aboego whose aspiration is said to be gathering serious momentum has been viewed as being ahead of his opponents in terms of consultation and reaching out to the critical stakeholders of the party.

Many believe that the overwhelming support and solidarity he receives across board are indication of people’s love for him. His ambition is said to be gathering unprecedented momentum following massive support from APC Officers and other stakeholders across the LGA.

Investigation reveal that, among all the aspirants for the Chairmanship race in Ngor Okpala, Prince Sir Chijioke S. Aboego seems to be the choice of the people of Ngor Okpala as majority of the electorate in the LGA have tipped him as the best alternative.

His choice as the best alternative may not be unconnected to the people’s view that he is the only aspirant that has the capability and genuine Commitment in delivering the dividends of grassroot governance in Ngor Okpala, considering his background as a development consultant and passionate leader.

It was gathered that since his declaration, he has remained the most talked-about aspirant in the race and better alternative for Ndi Ngor Okpala. Tone of voices about his aspiration is already renting the air with clear pointer to his strong voice, audacity and compassionate commitment to the affairs of Ngor Okpala which many believe stand him out among his opponents.

Speaking to our Correspondent, a community leader and APC chieftain in Ngor Okpala LGA, High Chief Val Okere (Amadioha Ngor Okpala) described him as the best alternative choice.

A community leader from Eziama Ngor Okpala, Chief Emma Duru said “He is a man of proven integrity who has no daint to his person and name. Among all the aspirants in Ngor Okpala, he is the best in my own assessment. He is a man of strong will and proven character. He has all it takes to serve as Ngor Okpala local government Chairman “.

Since the Chairmanship race started in the State, Prince Sir Chijioke Simon Aboego has earned the support of most APC faithful for his recent outreach and enormous contributions to the growth of the party. This has endeared him to the party members and stakeholders.

Meanwhile, there are indications and suspicions that his opponents may be dissatisfied by the massive support he enjoys and may result to grandstanding to discredit his overwhelming popularity and some are considering stepping down for him soon.
