No Rivers Transfer For Imo Commissioner Of Police, Mohammed Katsina -

Contrary to some previous media reports which said that the Imo State Commissioner of Police, Mohammed Katsina has been transferred to River State, the true position has finally been made known by the headquarters of the Police Command Owerri who debunked the said reports and averred that CP Katsina is still in charge of the Imo Police Command.

According to our source, the said transfer was dropped because of the public out cry of Imo people over the purported transfer which they termed injustice and against the wish of the people.

It was disclosed that both the members of the Imo Command of the Police and the people of Imo had kicked against the said transfer and used all their high and mighty contacts to fight the transfer to a stand still and retained CP Katsina in Imo.

Both the members of the force and Imo people said in one voice that they appreciate all the good works of CP Katsina and want him to stay back in Imo for more time to finish the fight against crime and criminals which he started with a lot of achievements.
