Director of the Imo State Security Services Mr A.S Adeleke has reassured the people of the state of the continued protection of their lives and property.
Speaking during the end of the year party by the command at its headquarters over the weekend. Adeleke explained that with the combined effort of his men and other security agencies in the state that the level of security was brought to its lowest in 2014.
He maintained that though there is no crime free society in the world but that his determination is to maintain an Imo environment where people can go about their lawful businesses freely without any molestation.
Adeleke who used the occasion to thank the state Government for its logistic support to the command also appealed to the people of the state to always assist his men with vital security information.
He gave assurance that such information will always be treated with the utmost secrecy it deserves.
In his remarks, the Deputy Governor of the state Prince Eze Madumere eulogized the dogged efforts of the command in crime prevention in the state.
Madumere said that the state Government on its own has always been supportive to the command and other security agencies in the state. And assured of more and better support and collaboration in the years ahead.
Highlights of the occasion was award of prizes to some of the staff who distinguished themselves in different departments in the year.
