Imo APC Begins Membership Registration, Gets Dates For Ward, LGA, State Congresses

The All Progressives Congress, Imo State Chapter will join other states to begin membership drive for the party which kick-starts any moment from now, sequel to directives from the Party’s Headquarter in Abuja.
According to information available to Trumpeta, APC will begin its Congresses, from the Ward levels on February, which terminates with the National Convention on March 2014.
This Newspaper learnt that the membership registration will start this month across the length and breadth of Nigeria.
In a release from the Party’s headquarter, the Ward Congresses will resume 22 February 2014, LG Congresses March 1, 2014, State Congresses March 8, 2014 and the National Convention on March 22, 2014.
All the Congresses were given a space of three days for appeals from disgruntled aspirants who may wish to seek for redress after the exercise.
The party has told Imo people to troop out in their numbers and pick the party’s registration card to bring change to the state.
A source from the party’s office in Imo disclosed that APC will create a big alternative for Imo electorate to seek for a new change that will benefit the state, adding that APC is a national political party with wide-out-reach that comprises all the ethnic groups that make up Nigeria.
The party advised Imo people to avail themselves of the opportunity created by the party’s registration to enroll into the party, pointing out that APC is not a Religious party as accused it by the PDP, stressing that PDP was afraid and jittery of APC, hence it is using every means to blackmail APC before Nigerian populace, which has failed woefully as PDP members are leaving the party in droves and joining APC, the party with alternative and better plans for Nigerians.
