Chukwueke Storms Oguta For Consultation, As Leaders Hail Him

It was praises galore for Jerry Chukwueke, Frontline PDP Guber Aspirant and Chairman of its contact and mobilization Committee as he led his prosperity 2015 campaign team to Oguta Local Government on Saturday 20th September, 2014.
The Oguta Civic Centre Venue of the consultation/sensitization visit was filled to the brim with PDP Leaders, stakeholders and party faithful before Chukwueke and his team arrived.
Their arrival which was heralded by 21 gun salute threw the already seated party faithful into frenzy as they joined trumpeters, drummers and dancers to welcome the Great Mobilizer as Chukwueke is popularly called.
Speaking at the occasion, frontline politician and former house majority leader Hon. Jones Uzoka eulogized Jerry Chukwueke as a man of integrity, a wealth creator and tested manager of men and scarce resources. He said that Chukwueke has all it takes to turn Imo’s economy around and will therefore have his support in his gubernatorial bid.
In his speech, Chukwueke decried the failure of previous Imo governments to convert the hydrocarbon deposits and the tourist potentials of Oguta into economic opportunities. He promised to use the potentials of Oguta to create jobs and employment for the youth of Oguta and Imo State in general.
Also speaking at the occasion, elder states man and Oguta PDP leader Dr. Gideon Nweze thanked Jerry Chukwueke for successfully reviving the PDP through his mobilization committee and assured him of the cooperation of Oguta people.
In his closing remarks, Oguta LGA PDP Chairman Hon. Maximian Okedu also thanked Chukwueke for the fantastic job of mobilizing the party and positioning it for victory in 2015. He assured that the party in Oguta will provide a level playing field for all aspirants.
