The Judicial panel of inquiry sitting at high court 9 Owerri has issued a bench warrant on the manager of Sterling bank Owerri for refusing to honour his invitation.
The chairman of probe panel Justice Benjamin Iheka frowned at the action of the bank for not coming to the court as invited.
The state lawyer, NM Obioha (Mrs) has earlier moved a motion for the bench warrant. After considering it necessary, Justice Benjamin Iheka resolved to accept the application and granted the request of the state lawyer, he them declared that a bench warrant should issue without delay to the Sterling bank manager who refused to answer the court invitation when he was invited recently.
