Imo Business Mogul High Chief Dennis Okwu Inducted As Patron Imo State Scout Council

A renowned business man , High Chief Dennis Ejikeme Okwu ” Sweet apple” (Ebubedike Ikeduru) , has been inducted as Patron Imo State Scout Council in recognition of his numerous positive contributions towards selfless services human and capital development

The induction ceremony was enshrined in the ceremonial outing cum reception of the state Scout President, Hon Justice Agugua Ijeoma, the Acting Chief Judge, Imo State, investiture of new members and medal presentation held last Saturday, October 18, 2025 at Rento Hotels and Suites, Owerri.

Interracting with newsmen shortly after being inducted, High Chief Okwu expressed delight for being held to a high esteem by the Imo State Scout Council as he express his wish to partner with the Council in it’s bid for a better society.

High Chief Okwu assured the Council that he will uphold their vision and mission through , educating and empowering citizens with a value system rooted in the Scout promise and law enabling them to become self fulfilled individuals and responsible citizens contributing to a better world.

High Chief Okwu, Chief Executive Officer Sweet Apple Services , enjoined the members of the Scout outfit not to relent in their efforts towards societal development and serving humanity,

He appreciated the leadership of Imo State Scout Council for finding him worthy to serve as Patron stressing that that the induction have motivated him to work harder.

According to him, “To whom much is given, much is expected. I assure Imo State Scout Council that this recognition is going to spur me for more and harder work and services to God and humanity to make society a better place to live in”.

In his remarks after the event, the SSC, Imo State Scout Council, Amb Sixtus Obinna Nwoke noted that the Scout Council deemed it very nice to organized the event and identified Scout as the most disciplined paramilitary and voluntary group, pointing out that the life of a scout is worthy of emulation.

Amb Nwoke urged the members of the organization to uphold honesty transparency and fairness, advising the newly inducted members to embrace the virtues because all eyes are on them.

The well attended event which took place amidst pomp and pleasantries witnessed the presence of high profiled dignitaries , top government functionaries , and captains of industry who graced the occasion
