Former Trumpeta Editorial Staff Dies

 

A former editorial staff of Trumpeta newspaper and journalist Saviour Osuoha is dead.

 

 

Osuoha was one of the pioneer staff of Trumpeta in 2011. He was the House of Assembly Correspondent of the newspaper 2011-2013.

 

According to information gathered, Osuoha passed away on Tuesday afternoon, May 26, 2026, in circumstances that have left colleagues, friends, and associates devastated.

 

Until his death, the late journalist, who hailed from Ifakala in Mbaitoli Local Government Area of Imo State, was widely known for his immense contributions to journalism, public enlightenment, and social commentary.

 

He earned admiration and respect among media practitioners and members of the public for his professionalism, dedication to duty, and unwavering passion for societal development.

 

Sources revealed that the deceased had battled health challenges sometime ago but later recovered.

 

In recent times, he was reportedly seen looking healthy and strong, making news of his sudden demise a painful shock to many who knew him.

 

Since the announcement of his death, tributes and condolences have continued to pour in from friends, colleagues in the media industry, and members of the public, who described him as a committed journalist, a humble personality, and a man devoted to truth and humanity.
