Reason is not unconnected to the reported resignation of key figures in the party.
Trumpeta can recall that APP was gaining momentum in the past until recently its fortune started declining.
Apart from the upcoming case on status of the party in terms of de-registration, the decamping of some key players who were founding members and arch supporters of the arrow head of the party in Imo State, Dr Chima Amadi, otherwise known as Mazi Gburugburu.
Among those who have tendered resignations based on Trumpeta findings is a former lawmaker, Hon Blyden Amajrionwu.
Amajrionwu was among the early birds who identified with the APP and formed the Dr Amadi campaign outfit, the TMO organisation.
Latest reports from the Mazi Gburugburu campaign outfit have it that the former lawmaker who represented Ngor Okpala, has dumped APP, including other party members.
Trumpeta has it the development is troubling the stability of the party as a major opposition force in the state.
