Another Child-Making Factory Uncovered in Imo 14 Teenage Pregnant Women Arrested in Umuguma

Another major breakthrough was recorded in the fight against runners of baby-making factories in Imo state yesterday when security agencies again uncovered a suspected home for teenage pregnant women.

The uncovered baby-making factory is located in Umuguma, Owerri West, where a certain man simply identified as Pastor Chinedu of the Cherubim and Seraphim Church, Umuguma who claims to be a staff of one of the obituary department of a Local Government Area in Imo State is alleged to be the master mind of the child bearing racket.

Our reporter who was in Umuguma observed when security operatives undertook the raid where not less than 14 pregnant young women were rescued and the operator taken away to Owerri.

The operation which took place Wednesday afternoon may have been done by operatives from the State Security Service (SSS) who whisked all the suspects to Owerri for further investigation.

Sources from Umuguma community reveal that the suspected operator recently hired an uncompleted building where the pregnant women are kept in unhealthy apartments.

Trumpeta observed that the pregnant women who were led out of the building looked unkempt and malnourished.

Some who came out of the supposed enclave looked beggarly before the armed operatives took them away.
