The General Overseer of Freedom faith Ministry, Owerri, His Lordship, Bishop Joshua, Imo has advised Igbo nation to stop fighting their brothers and sisters as it destroys the future of one another.
Bishop Imo stated this in his office at Owerri, when journalists visited to get his reaction on the allegation that he duped one Mr. Calistus Anyanwu from Ahiazu Mbaise LGA of N30,000 been money collected for family liberation. He disregarded such accusation and said that it never happened. The cleric who had been in the divine call for over ten (10) years warned that he doesn’t serve God because he is hungry insisting that ten (10) years in divine work with consistent followers means that God is using him as a tool to bless His people.
Warning against character assassination among Igbos, Bishop Imo admonished everyone to cherish love and avoid malice. “Igbo people should appreciate others success, believe in their brothers and avoid pull him down syndrome as it is with only togetherness that we could stop other raced from pulling us down”, he warned.
On his continuous support for the needy and indigent students, the preacher said that he has 70 people on scholarship at different level of education. He also informed that he will soon dedicate a small bungalow for one old woman and promised to continue in such capacity. Surprisingly, he assured all that he will pray for the progress and love of Mr Calistus Anyanwu but insisted that he will abide by the decisions of his Church and attorney on the matter.
It would be recalled that a local based newspaper (not Imo Trumpeta) in Owerri published a story of one Mr Callistus Anyanwu who claimed that Bishop Joshua Imo of Freedom Faith Ministry duped him of N30, 000 for family liberation but failed to carry out the liberation.rev. fr. vestment
