2019: Imo Diaspora Community, Endorses Emeka Ihedioha

The candidature of the Imo State PDP Governorship candidate, Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha CON, has received another overwhelming endorsement, this time by the Imo State Indigenes, resident in the United States of America under the umbrella of Imo Community in Diaspora USA.

The endorsement came during the 7days official visit of the Gubernatorial candidate to the US, at different fora at which he espoused his programmes and policies for the state.

The visit is at the invitation of the Imo Community in the Diaspora, USA to interact with him on his Programmes for Imo State ahead of the 2019 general election.

Addressing a cross section of Imo Indigenes in three US States of Texas, North Carolina and New York, as the special guest of honour at a high profile policy discourse with the theme, “Rebuilding and Repositioning Imo State” the former Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, called on the Imo Community in US to participate actively in the electioneering process and assured of his preparedness to salvage the state.

“I am happy to be invited to interact with you at this very critical time in the history of our dear state, I’m. It is a known fact that our state has is through the worst type of government since creation. The implication is that, there is poverty, hunger, youth unemployment, insecurity, hopelessness and all forms of dangerous vices. We cannot afford to allow our state, go extinct, under our watch.

“The leadership we desire, is one that is people driven, honest, prepared, God fearing, experienced with passion for service. I have come to serve to make life better and meaningful for our people and to restore hope. By the grace of God, I have prepared myself for service and my vision and programmes are clear.

While soliciting the support of Imolites across all sectors, he assured that he will not let the state down if given the mandate to serve.

In their reactions, the coordinators and participants at the fora, expressed satisfaction with the submissions of Hon. Ihedioha and assured of their support.

The PDP Gubernatorial candidate is also slated to deliver a key policy speech at a Colloquium with the theme, “Imo State in the Global Economy” sponsored by the Imo Global Alliance for Good Governance, (IGAGG) on Thursday, 6th December, 2018 at the National Press Club 13th Floor of National Press Club Building 529 14th Street NW, Washington
