Nigerian Students in Malaysia hail Governor Rochas Okorocha. … Vow To Eradicate Social Vices Among Youths Celebrates Nigeria @52

The International Association of Imo State Students in Malaysia (IASSM) led by its President, Comrade Ehirim Bright has extolled the fine leadership qualities of Imo State Governor, Owelle Rochas Okorocha.

Speaking at a Gala Nite NIGERIA@52 Independence Gala Nite at Royal Chulan Hotel, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia Mr. Ehirim commended the good works of Governor Okorocha in Imo State, urging the students and guests to emulate the governor who is doing a great job. He also spoke against the act of brother killing brother, betrayal, cultism, kidnapping, political thuggery, financial racketeering, fraud, careless sex, prostitution, drug abuse which is high and prevalent amongst the youths.

Also speaking at the event, the Director of Welfare of IASSM, Comrade Godson Okorie U said Governor Okorocha deserves applause and commendation for his good works he is carrying out in Imo State. He also extolled the leadership qualities of the Chief Of Staff, Prince Eze Madumere, the Secretary to Imo State Government, Prof Anthony Anwuka and commended them for their efforts in supporting the rescue mission of the Governor.

In his speech, the president of Nigerians In Diaspora Organization, Malaysia (NIDOMY), Ahmed Umar Ahmad also thanked the President of International Association of Imo State students in Malaysia (ISSAM) for his good works, especially in fishing out the bad eggs among the good ones amongst Nigerians in Malaysia. He described Owelle Rochas Okorocha as the man of the people. He also eulogized the Governor’s SSA on Inter Party Relations, Hon. Alhaji Abubakar Ozuh whom he described as a brother.

During an interactive session with Medical And Academic Students, Dr.John Ali Yakubu Umar also congratulated the President of Imo State Students on his achievements in reducing crime among Imo State students and Nigerians as well. He expressed optimism that soon, social vices perpetrated by some Nigerians such as gangsterism, cultism, financial fraud, abortion will soon be a thing of the past.

He advised the students to avoid casual sex, stating that HIV/AIDS is real and intake of hard drugs leads to brain damage.  He added that he is sees a bright future for the students in Malaysia, advising some dignitaries that came from Nigeria to witness the event to invest in the future of children.

In his closing remarks, Comrade Ehirim commended some national executive members of Imo State members such as the national president which include Comrade Madunezim Chukwuma, national Vice President, Comrade Aaron Progress, National Director of Welfare, Comrade Prince David Nwaogwugwu, National Secretary, Comrade Caleb Ezenwa for their efforts in wiping out crimes.
