Adaku Ihuoma commends Mbaise Unity Cup Donor for uplifting Mbaise Youths

The majority Leader and member representing Ahiazu Mbaise State constituency in the state house of Assembly Hon Adaku Ihuoma has commended Mr. Chukwuma Njoku for using the Mbaise unity cup to uplift the Lives of Mbaise Youths.

Hon Ihuoma stated this at the finals of the 6th edition of Mbaise unity cup which took place at Amuzi Central Primary School field near St. Jude Catholic Church in Amuzi.

She praised the efforts of Mr. Njoku (Akaekpuchionwa) for his good spirited efforts in using God’s given resources to stage the football competition annually, they by helping to keep our youths off social vices and making them realize their God’s given talents.

She however adviced that the organizers must ensure that some of the talents discovered during the tournaments be helped and encouraged to join some of the Premier League clubs or possibly sponsored abroad for professional carriers.

In his own statement, the donor of the cup and the sponsor of the competitions assured that every year, he will ensure that new innovations are added to the competition like introduction of individual awards by next year.

He also called on the good spirited sons and daughters of Mbaise and lovers of football including the Ministry of Sports to help in sustaining the momentum of the tournament which is the only sure way of grooming the talents from the grass root and leading them to the stardom.

Meanwhile, in the final game, Ibeko Fc defeated Success Fc through the gamble and lottery of penalties 5-4 after the game had ended 1-1 in normal regulation time.

The coach of Ibeko Fc Mr. Jenesis Charls who was full of joy after their victory informed ‘Imo Trumpeta’ that his boys were fully prepared mentally and physically for the game. He however gave God the glory while thanking the owner of the team Mr. Ibe Ejere who gave him the chance to groom the boys.
