The AA senatorial flag bearer, who defected to the APC recently along with his supporters, said he is joining APC to help facilitate development to his constituency. Imo Breaking News reports.
After days of speculation, Dr.Emma Ogueri, the Imo north, Action Alliance Senatorial candidate in the just concluded Imo north bye-election has formally defected from the Action Alliance (AA), to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The popular politician, who defected to the APC on Tuesday along with his supporters , said the Imo North senatorial district has suffered neglect.
Speaking with journalists after joining APC at his pooling unit, Umuduruagwu, Okohia in Osu-Owerri ward 1, Isiala Mbano local government, Dr Ogueri said he had no regrets moving to the APC.
He said, “We Ndigbo cannot continue to be relegated from the national bargain which we are co-owners. This is the time to join forces with the Federal and state Government to move our country forward.”
