Following a malicious report making rounds were one Chief Emmanuel Achilike was claiming to have decamped to APC with 97% of PDP faithful in Ubomiri Ward, a member of the “Rebuild Imo” IMC member in Mbaitoli LGA Representing the good people of Ubomiri Ward, Hon Opara Justice C. has described the act as joke of the year.
Hon Opara who spoke to Trumpeta recently in Owerri said, ordinarily he and the respected members and leaders of PDP in Ubomiri Ward wouldn’t have cared one bit about Chief Achilike’s movement to APC owing to the fact that he has since been sacked from PDP in 2020 for anti party activities.
But he noted that he is however, constrained to make some necessary corrections over his claim on moving with about 97% of our loyal members.
“It is unfortunate that a man who couldn’t convince his family and his village, Umuawam Amauburu Ubomiri to cast their vote claims to have moved with about 97% of PDP faithful.
“He is obviously goofing and apparently seeking cheep recognition.
“Let me reassure our very peaceful PDP members in Ubomiri Ward and the general public that no single PDP member in our ward has decamped and that we are still very intact and even wooing more members for our great party,” Hon Opara reassured.
He maintained that the transparent and visible good governance of the “Rebuild Imo” government within seven months in office is still fresh in the memory of Imolites adding that  no amount of blackmail or false report can destroy the togetherness and popularity of PDP in the state, Mbaitoli LGA and in Ubomiri Ward.
The PDP Hench man meanwhile, used the medium to appreciate His Excellency, Rt Hon Emeka Ihedioha “Omenkeahuruanya” for his well articulated rebuild Imo project that is still talked about by Imolites, the Senator representing Imo East Senatorial District, Rt Hon Ezenwa Onyewuchi, the Reps member for Mbaitoli/Ikeduru Federal Constituency, Rt Hon Henry Nwawuba for their sustained uncommon representation and developmental projects attracted to for their constituents and Imolites at large.
He equally thanked and commended the State party Executives and leaders for their tireless efforts in ensuring that PDP especially in the state remains the party to beat.
