The immediate former Speaker of Imo House of Assembly, Rt Hon Acho Ihim has described the eight years of Owelle Rochas Okorocha as an evil regime, and therefore the Lords doing that Uche Nwosu did not win the 2019 Governorship election as that would have been a continuation of Okorocha’s evil governance.
Reacting to a story that he (Ihim) has gone to beg Uche Nwosu for forgiveness, the former Deputy Governorship candidate of Action Alliance AA, in a release signed by his Senior Special Assistant SSA Media, Marcel Ekwezuo said that it was an insult for anybody to insinuate that he has gone to beg Nwosu.
Acho Ihim said that such a story is false, since he has not even contemplated doing that, pointing out that “this is to inform all Nigerians and indeed the good people of Imo State in particular that there is no iota of truth in the above allegation”.
The former Speaker who dumped Nwosu at the Tribunal to pursue their case against Governor Emeka Ihedioha and PDP alone, said that his decision to withdraw from the matter is final and he cannot go back to leak his spittle.
“The Rt Hon (Dr) Acho Ihim has never and can never take any Banana decision or will he be found inconsistent in any decision he has taken to uplifting the welfare and goodness of Imo people” the release read.
The former Okigwe LGA chairman continued “therefore the idea of going back to Mr Uche Nwosu to beg him for continuation or pursuance of an aspiration that will definitely and ultimately subject Imo people to further slavery and hardship in anything connecting Okorocha is unfathomable”.
He said that the attempt by Okorocha to foist Uche Nwosu on Imo State after his hellish administration “was an evil desire against natural justice, Heaven and against Earth”.
Acho made it clear that he never begged Uche Nwosu and will never think of doing that.
