A Socio-political Group, identified as ‘Doable Team’, has called on its founder, and one of the State born sound minds, Hon. Poly Chinenye Ezumoha to contest for Imo State Governorship election, come 2023.
“Doable Team”, Trumpeta Newspaper learnt, is known for their quest towards ensuring good governance.
The Group described Hon. Ezumoha, fondly called ‘PolySamez’ as an accomplished man, who has the vision for the restoration of democratic ethos.
This was disclosed in a Communique raised after a meeting of the Group, recently.
According to them, it is high time individuals with the masses wellbeing at heart are allowed to be in positions of authority in the State.
“It is ripe for responsible members of the society to take the gauntlet and join the political fray to salvage the State from the hands of irresponsible and corrupt Leadership that have plagued the State since after the coming of Dee Sam Mbakwe”.
They reiterated Ezumoha’s sound pedigree in leading the State to a promised land if given the deserved support through the affirmation of the ballots.
Addressing newsmen shortly after the meeting, the Head Media and Publicity of Doable Team, Comrade Michael King Chieki affirmed that Hon Poly Ezumoha has been tested and found worthy of the seat.
Chieke said, “He has excelled in the private sector where he coordinated men and resources before coming out from his private life into politics, and afterwards floated the Imo Network Group (ING) that helped to reengineer the fruitful discourse that popularized the demands for Good Democratic Governance anchored on Transparency, Accountability and Inclusiveness among the citizens of the State and Nigeria”.
“PolySamez is a known philanthropist that has catered to the needs of the indigents in the society and is a man who isn’t known for blowing his trumpets;
“So to this end, we the members of the Doable Team enjoin him to continue his acts of goodness by joining the race for the governorship of Imo State in 2023″.
Responding, Chief Poly Samez promised to make his intentions known to the public if he would consider the Group’s appeal for Guber race, pointing out that with or without an elective positions, the good work must continue.
