The Chief IMAM of Imo state, Sheik Dauda A. Onyeagocha has stated that the Muslim Community in Imo state has no reason to attack Governor Rochas Okorocha.
The waziri of Hausa community made this assertion last week Friday at central Mosque, shell camp, Owerri after their usual prayer.
Chief Onyeagocha maintained that Hausa community in Imo state is very comfortable with the present rescue mission government in the state. Adding that there certain things they could not have access previously which Okorocha government has made them to gain more access.
Also expressed hope that the recent Ramadan would continue to inject positively into the lives of Muslim faithful in Nigeria and that the moral lessons derived from the one month Muslim fast encompass with peace and unity of the country.
Earlier Onyeagocha disclosed their plan to reactivate Christian/Muslim Forum which was underway since 2011. He however noted that the forum will go a long way to unite Christians and Muslim if properly registered.
