2015 Guber: My Cardinal Principle is to abolish poverty in Imo, says Capt Mbamara

In preparation ahead 2015 general elections, one of the guber aspirants in Imo state, under the Platform of Accord Party, Capt Sir David C. Mbamara has stated that one of his paramount principles if elected as the Governor is to eradicate and abolish poverty from the lives of Imolites and the economy of the state generally.
Capt Mbamara disclosed with dismay the rate at which Imo state which is recognized as the highest oil producing states in South East is suffering from lack of unemployment, stressing that he will combat unemployment within his one hundred days in office as the substantive Executive Governor of Imo State if voted into power. He added that as a political scientist and with his 24 years experience in the army and the state respectively, he will bring to bare what effective democracy is all about as he is already determined to better Imolites which will yield up envy from other sister states of the federation.
Commenting further, the Iho Dimeze born aspirant stated with confidence that he will rebrand the Agricultural sector which has been one of the greatest achievements Imo was know for in the past. He pin-pointed that most of the cash and root crops like cocoyam, yam, potatoes and other Economic crops will be reintroduced in restoration of the past glories of Imo in Nigeria.
In a related development, he averred that Accord Party is a silent party which achieves its aim basically on Divine intervention.
Speaking further, Capt. Mbamara enunciated the need to support and vote President Goodluck Jonathan in continuation of his 2nd tenure, adding that though his is of Accord party, the president under PDP has done marvelously well in the present dispensation and should be allowed for the 2nd tenure in complement of his transformation agendas.
The hopeful further advised youths and the general public to collect money from politicians who might brandish them with gifts and money for the idea of buying their conscience, and urged them never to be bought, but should vote their conscience and the people that can deliver in governance.
“Accord Party is like David, while others are Goliath. The problems facing the State and Nation now will be more turbulent as we approach 2015, but will cease post 2015”. Capt Mbamara concluded.
