On Wednesday, November 22nd, 2017 while glancing through the local tabloids in Imo State, I was lucky to jump into an article written by one Emma Ukabuiro, though a faceless or pseudo name in journalism profession using the above subject as his caption.

After reading the said article with rapped attention hoping to be fed with raw information against Jude Ejiogu, it became hard for me to get any reasonable point to hold on with except sheer and obvious greed, envy, wickedness, backbiting and malice of the highest order to garnish the article.

Even though I am not holding brief for anyone since I did not get the mandate to do so, yet it will not stop me including any sane person from reacting to issues as the above. To me, I consider this article very fitty and enviously concocted to curry political favour for whoever the myopic writer is trying to impress.

This article was badly and unprofessionally written, for example, the writer asked “if Jude Ejiogu can fly the flag of APC let alone winning the big battle, i.e. Governorship”. As a staunch member of APC, I am in a position to say that with the little I know about Ejiogu, he has contributed enough for the development and growth of our party, a man who was unanimously selected as the Apex leader of his constituency when there are other big names in the area should not be underrated. A man who has served in various sensitive positions in Imo State more than any other person should be seen as the best bride for our party’s Governorship ticket. So I wonder why the writer would accept this hatchet job.

For the avoidance of doubt, our party and Imo State at large need a man with proven character, intelligence and widely acquired administrative brain to go in and salvage the state’s economy without much meaning to age. It is too early for a boy to become Governor in Imo state, until necessary things are harmonized. I have been wondering why Governor Yahaya Bello, the youngest Governor in Nigeria has never presented any viewpoint at the floor of Nigerian Governor’s Forum Meeting, perhaps, he develops phobia before the presence of his bigger boys colleagues. This is not what Imo people need now.

I am a youth no doubt, Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State is also a youth, but Kogi is the worse hit state in salary payment, social infrastructural development, and pension matters under his administration. If Kogi people were told to reject him from the formative stage of his Governorship ambition, some youths over there would have criticized the move. But thank God, all of them are suffering the mess.

Meanwhile, it is glaringly clear that the faceless writer is an amateur in public presentation, otherwise he would not have “disqualified” Jude Ejiogu for Governorship position and cleared him to seek either for House of Riepresentatives or Senatorial Seats, when majority of Senators in Nigeria are former State Governors. Jude Ejiogu as a staunch card carrying member of APC, believes in the vision and mission of the party, while his elder brother is a super-strong-supporter of PDP, where as a politician, it becomes very difficult to believe politically with your relations even with your wife, child or parents when they don’t believe in your party.

To the hatchet article presenter, it is easy for a blind man including the writer in the State to know who is actually being deceived for 2019 Governorship seat, rather than Jude Ejiogu. from Yahoo Mail on Android
