Nze CJK Chinedu, a chieftain of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ideato -North also the Assistant Coordinator of Ugwumba Movement in Orlu Zone , Imo State has appealed to Imolites to look beyond the zoning arrangement so as to sustain Gov .Rochas Okorocha’s vision and legacy of free education and many more others in the State.
Nze CJK made this passionate appeal on Sunday during the Ideato -North APC Stakeholders meeting held at the Council Headquarters where he moved a motion for the endorsement of Chief Uche Nwosu, Chief of Staff(COS) Imo Government House Owerri.
According to Nze CJK who also is the Coordinator of Ugwumba Movement in Ideato-North ,”Imolites should look beyond the tripple O’s and support continuity of Gov. Okorochas legacies such as 27 modern hospitals ,27 Chapels , road expansion that could be left to collapse when somebody who doesn’t understand the system emerges Imo Governor .
What the State need is Imo governor and not Owerri Zone or Orlu Zone or Okigwe Zone governor because zoning does not put food on the table of anybody. Our problem in Imo is the triple O, Owerri, Orlu, Okigwe zones. The young man called Ugwumba Uche Nwosu is my principal, he is a team player, a hardworking man, he is industrious and never gets tired. He is a very humble young man, who does not use his office to molest anybody.
When asked why he moved a motion for Nwosu’s endorsement in Ideato-North, Nze CJK was of the opinion that as the Coordinator of the group in the area he had worked closely with Chief of Staff and realized he has the qualities of a good leader that can fast track development in Imo State .
He is the most qualified for the job and I advised Imo people to toe same lane with Lagos and other progressive states by supporting continuity, myself and every member of my family will support Ugwumba .For Ugwumba Uche Nwosu is not a proud man, not arrogant and, I’m very sure that power won’t enter his head. Inspite of the position he occupies you can’t see him quarreling with anybody or maltreating anybody.”
“If our governor is talking or thinking about zoning, I believe Orlu should be like Abuja because 70% of our governor’s projects are sited in Owerri zone.
Owelle is not from Owerri zone, but his administration has done more projects in Owerri zone and Owerri Municipal in particular more than the administrations before him put together.
“We need Imo Governor and not a zonal governor. Owelle has done in Okigwe zone even more than what the man from the zone could not do for them.”
