NACOY Praises Security Agencies Over Crime Check in Ohaji, Debunks Report On Monarch

The National Congress of Ohaji Youths, NACOY, has expressed happiness over the activities of security agencies in Ohaji communities, especially in Awarra Court Area.
President of NACOY, Comrade Chinonye Emmanuel Ugorji, in a statement disclosed that the youth body strongly identifies with the cleansing program of the security agencies adding that their prompt response to distress calls and arrest of criminals is a welcomed development.
Ugorji further said that the communities in Ohaji are witnessing relative peace and harmony since SARS, and the military moved in to ensure a crime free society.
Said he “the youths of Ohaji clan in Ohaji/Egbema of Imo State are happy with security agencies for their ceaseless intervention at ensuring criminals are sent out of our area. The recent raids that exposed the bad eggs in our place deserves accolades. We are grateful to the SARS and Army”.
Speaking further, the NACOY President disclosed that the stoppage of the menace created by the notorious kidnapper and criminal popularly known as Bracket has saved people of Ihie, Umuapu, Mgbuisi, Awarra and Asaa communities from inherent dangers as a result of his operation.
Reacting on the purported traditional ruler from Awarra community, police paraded recently over alleged involvement in kidnapping, Comrade Ugorji stated that the suspected is not a monarch and is not in charge of any community, but one of those who contested for the Awarra Autonomous community Ezeship which was won by Eze  Ezenwoke.
“Ohaji youths body wishes to state that the suspect is not a traditional ruler in Awarra or any other autonomous community in Ohaji/Egbema. Rather, he was an aspirant to the stool but lost to an eventual winner” he added.
The youth leader however asked able bodied men and women of Ohaji extraction to keep away from crime and respect the wishes of constituted authorities for a better society.
