Senior officers of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defense Corps of Imo origin have commended Imo state governor have commended Gov. Owelle Rochas Okorocha for the laudable development and infrastructural projects he has embarked upon in the state.
In a letter of commendation signed by Ewurum Evans Chidi, Deputy Commandant General (DCG) on behalf of Kelechi Madu, Assistant Commandant General (ACG), Commandant Desmond Agu, Commandant Walter Akubuiro and Commandant Fabian Ejezie, the officers described Gov. Okorocha as a God fearing, Visionary and purposeful leader that is really on rescue mission especially now the state requires proactive measures in its revitalization.
They commended the governor embarking on people-oriented projects such as the construction and rehabilitation of over 1000 kilometer of roads in the 27 LGAs of Imo state,rehabilitation of Concorde Hotel, revamping of Imo Palm plantation (Adapalm) and the Imo Blue Lake of Treasure and most the free education scheme that has brought a new lease of life for both parents and guardians in the state.
They, however, urged the governor to convey appreciation to the Minister of Interior, Comrade Patrick Abba Moro and the Commandant General, Dr. John Ade Abolurin who they said is instrumental for the feat they have achieved in the corp, stressing that this will attest to the fact Imo governor is responsible particularly on the issues that affect Imo citizens.
They also pledged their unalloyed support and loyalty to the administration of Owelle Rochas Okorocha and expressed their readiness to contribute their quota to ensure the success of the administration.
