Residents Move Against Young Men Involved in Alleged Gay Practice

The whereabouts of two young men suspected to be involved in homosexual practices are unknown as residents of Aba go in search of the suspects.

The city of Aba erupted in confusion when reports filtered in that two young men were involved in acts related to gay in the neighborhood.

Moments they were nabbed after an alarm was raised by the mother of one of the suspects, they were beaten to a stupor and feared dead, though it was learnt that parents of one of the suspects rushed him to hospital.

It was learnt that two young men on the 20th of August, 2021 were involved in homosexual practices at a house, No 23 Uruakpa Street, near Overail area of Aba, Abia State.

According to sources, one of the suspects, Emperor Ibezim Chibuike was lured by another young man simply identified as Ozieoma to their family house in one of the apartments in the compound for sexual escalades.

Ozieoma’s mother who suspected foul play how his son brought in another young (Emperor Ibezim Chibuike) and both of them locked in a room later moved in to discover the illicit act. She however raised the alarm which attracted neighbours to the place.

On raising alarm, residents of the area who believe it was an abomination quickly rushed to the location to get hold of suspects who were beaten blue and black.
Thinking they were dead, the crowd left them half dead and ran away.

This newspaper couldn’t ascertain how the battered suspects survived but there whereabouts after the incident remain unknown
